春期労働闘争(春闘)
春期労働闘争、いわゆる春闘は、企業に対する企業別組合の交渉力を強化するために日本労働組合総評議会(総評)が開始したものです。毎年春、各産業の全ての企業別組合が一斉にほぼ同水準の賃金要求を掲げ、賃金交渉を開始した日に短かいストライキを行います。個々の企業別組合はそれぞれの経営者側と交渉をしましたが、産業全体が協調することで業界を通じた同一水準の賃金目標が設定されました。 総評は各産業がストライキを決行する日程を調整しました。これによって、多様な春期ストライキ活動の波や、交渉過程における熱気や競争の雰囲気がつくりだされました。春闘は、1989年に総評が解散するまで、日本の労働組合活動の大きな特徴でした。
